any work ever gets started, an analysis of need defines
the parameters of the design. This in-turn lets everyone
involved calculate the true costs.
Our
Design and Build Process . . .
Once
a web package is chosen, the initial components of the
site will be reviewed and fitted into the base design.
Additional pages, or optional features, will be reviewed
for validity and client approval.
If
the domain name has not yet been secured, ShopCRC can
assist in completing this step. Material gathering will
begin and the client will be given a selection of design
styles (templates) from which to choose. A phone consultation
will take place to help set design goals, in terms of
look and presentation.
Based
on materials provided (template choice, client logo, written
site content, pictures, etc.) ShopCRC will begin template
preparation to match layout goals. Upon receipt of the
content materials, the design team will begin incorporating
the materials into the website.
An
initial draft will be presented for the client to review.
It will be fully functional. The client is provided the
opportunity to edit the content at this time.
Any
corrections will be made and the site will be moved from
our development servers and posted to the hosting servers.
For existing sites or sites under
development, ShopCRC can provide a site evaluation. Our
goal is to provide an analytical look at your existing
website so we may recommend a plan to get the site more
pro-active with visitors.
During
this consultation we look at design and layout issues,
keyword usage, link usage, and content. We will review
who, and what services you presently use, and make recommendations
accordingly. We will discuss your requirements and work
out the best plan-of-action. (This is a fee based service).
